1 ноября в New Tone school снова отметили Autumn Festival — ежегодный праздник осенних традиций англоязычных стран. Учителя английского языка и, конечно, сами гимназисты организовали яркое и запоминающееся мероприятие, которое помогает почувствовать атмосферу таких любимых народных праздников, как Harvest Festival и Thanksgiving Day.

Этот фестиваль — отличный способ не только обогатить знания о культуре англоязычных стран, но и улучшить языковые навыки гимназистов. Год от года атмосфера Autumn Festival становится все более невероятной! Классы превращаются в настоящую осеннюю сказку благодаря красочным декорациям, а ребята приходят в тематических костюмах — осенних образах и нарядах любимых персонажей.

Утром прошло костюмированное дефиле, где каждый смог продемонстрировать свой образ. Мы провели конкурсы: «Лучшее оформление класса» и «Самый костюмированный класс». Это была отличная возможность для всех проявить свои творческие способности! В этом году победителями стали наши первоклассники — 1 «Б» и 1 «А» классы. Кроме того, ученики всех классов с энтузиазмом участвовали в квесте на английском языке. Его победителей ждали сладкие призы.

Наш праздник снова удался, и мы уже с нетерпением ждём следующей осени! Такие фестивали — важная часть нашего образовательного подхода, ведь обучение через события — один из главных принципов нашей гимназии.

On November 1, New Tone school again celebrated Autumn Festival — an annual celebration of autumn traditions of English-speaking countries. English teachers and, of course, the students themselves organized a bright and memorable event, which helps to feel the atmosphere of such favorite national holidays as Harvest Festival and Thanksgiving Day.

This festival is a great way not only to enrich knowledge about the culture of English-speaking countries, but also to improve students’ language skills. Year after year, the Autumn Festival atmosphere becomes more and more incredible! Classrooms turn into a real autumn fairy tale thanks to colorful decorations, and children come in themed costumes — autumn images and outfits of their favorite characters.

In the morning there was a costume defile, where everyone was able to demonstrate their image. We held contests: «The best class decoration» and «The most costumed class». It was a great opportunity for everyone to show their creativity! This year the winners were our first graders — 1 «B» and 1 «A» classes. In addition, pupils from all classes enthusiastically participated in a quest in English. Sweet prizes were waiting for the winners.

Our festival was once again a success, and we are already looking forward to next fall! Such festivals are an important part of our educational approach, because learning through events is one of the main principles of our gymnasium.
