Гимназисты NewTone познакомились с университетом туризма в Самарканде
Как знания о прошлом может стать будущей профессией? Одиннадцатиклассники Английской гимназии NewTone съездили в Самарканд — город, в котором древность встречается с будущим. Это была не просто экскурсия, а настоящая встреча с культурным наследием — и теми, кто делает его доступным для современного мира.
Школьники побывали в Международном университете туризма и культурного наследия «Шелковый путь» — ведущем центре подготовки специалистов в сфере туризма. Там ребят ждал насыщенный день: знакомство с направлениями университета, общение со студентами и преподавателями, экскурсия по кампусу и визит в академию Всемирной туристской организации (UNWTO), работающую на базе вуза.
Своим опытом с ребятами поделился профессор Артем Клыков, рассказав, как устроено обучение в академии и как современные технологии и подходы помогают развивать туризм на международном уровне.
Поездку помогла организовать Наталья Данилкина — выпускница магистратуры университета по направлению «Управление культурным, природным и смешанным наследием». А завершилось путешествие экскурсией по всемирно знаменитому комплексу «Вечный город». Её для ребят провёл Жахонгир Жураев — тоже выпускник университета и настоящий знаток истории Самарканда.
Эта поездка стала для гимназистов возможностью взглянуть на культурное наследие не только как на часть прошлого, но и как на один из возможных путей в своё будущее.
NewTone gymnasium students got acquainted with the University of Tourism in Samarkand
How can knowledge of the past become a future profession? Eleventh graders from NewTone School traveled to Samarkand, a city where antiquity meets the future. It was not just an excursion, but a real encounter with cultural heritage — and those who make it available to the modern world.
Schoolchildren visited the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage «Silk Road» — the leading center for training specialists in tourism. There they had a busy day: acquaintance with the directions of the university, communication with students and teachers, a tour around the campus and a visit to the Academy of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), working on the basis of the university.
Prof. Artem Klykov shared his experience with the guys, telling them how the training at the academy is organized and how modern technologies and approaches help to develop tourism at the international level.
The trip was organized by Natalia Danilkina, a graduate of the university’s master’s degree program in «Management of Cultural, Natural and Mixed Heritage». The trip ended with an excursion to the world-famous «Eternal City» complex. It was conducted for the children by Zhakhongir Zhuraev, also a graduate of the university and a real expert in the history of Samarkand.
This trip became an opportunity for the students to look at the cultural heritage not only as a part of the past, but also as one of the possible ways to their future.
