Гимназисты NewTone получили высокую оценку за доклад на школьном экологическом форуме
Ученики 8, 10 и 11 классов Английской гимназии NewTone успешно выступили на школьном экологическом форуме, который в мае состоялся в филиале Пизанского университета в Ташкенте. Их доклад на английском языке, посвящённый решениям проблемы загрязнения воздуха в Узбекистане, был высоко оценён экспертами в области экологии — как за глубину исследований в ходе подготовки работы, так и за оригинальные идеи, предложенные самими школьниками.
Проект курировала учитель английского языка Зухра Ахматовна Джабриева. По её словам, выбор темы объясняется всё более острой ситуацией с качеством воздуха в Ташкенте и других городах страны: загрязнение уже сейчас влияет на здоровье населения и может привести к ещё более тяжёлым последствиям в будущем. Решив разобраться в проблеме, ньютоновцы собрали необходимую статистику, проанализировали состояние воздуха в крупных городах, сравнили показатели с международными нормами, выявили основные источники загрязнения и предложили возможные пути решения.
Это не первое участие гимназии в экологическом форуме: в прошлом году команда NewTone уже поднимала важные темы, связанные с охраной окружающей среды. В этом году гимназисты уверенно продолжили начатое. Ученики проявили инициативу, глубоко вникли в тему и показали готовность работать с серьёзными вопросами, которые касаются будущего всей страны, отметила Зухра Ахматовна.
Доклад вызвал интерес у слушателей и получил высокую экспертную оценку — в первую очередь за самостоятельность в подходе, актуальность и аргументированность инициативы. Участие в форуме стало для ребят не просто учебным заданием. Это уверенный шаг в сторону осознанного отношения к окружающему миру, без которого трудно представить решение накопившихся проблем.
NewTone Gymnasium students received high marks for their report at the school environmental forum
Pupils from grades 8, 10 and 11 of NewTone School successfully presented at the school’s environmental forum, which was held in May at the University of Pisa’s branch in Tashkent. Their report in English on solutions to the problem of air pollution in Uzbekistan was highly appreciated by experts in the field of ecology — both for the depth of research during the preparation of the work and for the original ideas proposed by the pupils themselves.
English teacher Zukhra Akhmatovna Jabriyeva supervised the project. According to her, the choice of the topic is explained by the increasingly acute situation with air quality in Tashkent and other cities of the country: pollution is already affecting the health of the population and may lead to even worse consequences in the future. Having decided to understand the problem, the Newtonians collected the necessary statistics, analyzed the state of air in major cities, compared the indicators with international standards, identified the main sources of pollution and proposed possible solutions.
This is not the gymnasium’s first participation in the environmental forum: last year the NewTone team already raised important topics related to environmental protection. This year the students confidently continued what they had started. Zukhra Akhmatovna noted that the pupils showed initiative, delved deeply into the topic and showed their readiness to work with serious issues that concern the future of the whole country.
The report aroused interest among the listeners and received a high expert assessment — first of all, for its independent approach, relevance and reasoned initiative. Participation in the forum was not just a learning task for the children. It is a confident step towards a conscious attitude to the world around them, without which it is difficult to imagine a solution to the accumulated problems.
