День самоуправления NewTone: ученики попробовали себя в роли учителей и администраторов
В Английской гимназии NewTone прошёл традиционный День самоуправления. В нем участвовали ученики с 7 по 11 классы: ребята попробовали себя в роли учителей-предметников, администраторов и на целый день переняли другие заботы по организации школьной жизни.
Гимназисты сами выбирали предметы для уроков, согласовав темы и планы занятий со своими педагогами и проводили их не только для младших классов, но и для своих ровесников. В расписание для родителей, которых собрали в два полных класса по 17 человек, добавили новые дисциплины — актёрское мастерство, хореографию и кружковую деятельность, наряду с привычными уроками истории, математики и английского языка.
Ученики взяли на себя и другие заботы: сопровождали младших школьников в столовую, работали на кухне, в бухгалтерии, медкабинете и даже на охране. Старшеклассники из 11 класса выступили в роли администраторов школы — и вместе со всеми участниками Дня самоуправления получили самые тёплые отзывы за ответственное отношение к своим обязанностям.
Завершился необычный школьный день тоже необычно: все классы гимназии поздравили педагогов с Днём учителя и наставника большим танцевальным флешмобом.
Собранные по итогам Дня самоуправления отзывы были полны похвалы в адрес учеников, которые сумели проявить инициативу, ответственность и умение справляться с нестандартными ситуациями. Тренировка этих качеств и есть главный смысл этого мероприятия, отметила заместитель директора гимназии по событийному обучению Рузана Фахриддиновна Мирхамитова.
NewTone Self-Government Day: Students Tried Their Hand at Teachers and Administrators
The NewTone English Gymnasium held the traditional Day of Self-Government. Students from grades 7 to 11 participated in it: the children tried themselves in the role of subject teachers, administrators and took over other concerns about the organization of school life for the whole day.
Gymnasium students themselves chose subjects for lessons, agreed on topics and lesson plans with their teachers and conducted them not only for junior classes, but also for their peers. New disciplines were added to the schedule for parents, who were gathered in two full classes of 17 people each: acting, choreography and club activities, along with the usual lessons in history, mathematics and English.
The students took on other worries: they accompanied younger students to the canteen, worked in the kitchen, in the accounting department, in the medical office and even on security. High school students from the 11th grade acted as school administrators and, together with all the participants of the Day of Self-Government, received the warmest reviews for their responsible attitude to their duties.
An unusual school day ended also unusually: all classes of the gymnasium congratulated teachers on the Day of the teacher and mentor with a large dance flash mob.
The feedback collected at the end of the Day of Self-Government was full of praise for the students who managed to show initiative, responsibility and the ability to cope with non-standard situations. Training these qualities is the main point of this event, said Ruzana Fakhriddinovna Mirkhamitova, Deputy Director of the Gymnasium for Event Training.
