Hard & soft: команды 5 и 6 классов сошлись в соревновании по робототехнике
Превратить большой актовый зал в настоящий технологический полигон, чтобы скрестить отвертки и микроконтроллеры в захватывающем техническом турнире. Именно это сделали ученики 5-6 классов Английской гимназии New Tone, чьи команды поборолись в соревновании по робототехнике.
Турнир стал хорошей проверкой скорости умения работать головой и руками, да ещё и в команде. Соревнование включало в себя теоретический баттл, где потребовались знаний матчасти — буквально каждой детали и устройства в собираемых механизмах.
Но самым зрелищным и эмоциональным стал раунд «Робо-сумо», в ходе которого ученики собирали и совершенствовали своих роботов, чьей задачей было — вытолкнуть соперника за контрольную границу. После первого этапа команды ушли на доработку своих киборгов, чтобы сделать их еще мощнее и хитрее.
В итоге 1 место досталось команде 5-В (Имрон Дониеров, Муслим Ризамухамедов, Даниил Ким, Павел Соколов). На втором месте — соперники из 6-А класса (Саидмухаммад Миноваров, Оскар Ашуров, Давид Аванесов, Кирилл Палтусов), которые стали лучшими знатоками теории. На третьем месте — сборная команда: Эмин Ибрагимов (6-Б), Давид Амиранашвили (5-А) и Амир Широв (5-Б).

Hard & Soft: Teams of 5th and 6th Graders Meet in Robotics Competition
Transforming a large ballroom into a true technology proving ground is aimed to cross screwdrivers and microcontrollers in an exciting technical tournament. This is exactly what the students of grades 5-6 of the New Tone English Gymnasium did, whose teams competed in the robotics competition.
The tournament was a good test of the speed of the ability to work with the head and hands, and even in a team. The competition included a theoretical battle, where knowledge of the materiel was required — literally every part and device in the assembled mechanisms.
But the most spectacular and emotional round was the «Robo-Sumo» round, during which the students assembled and improved their robots, whose task was to push the opponent beyond the control line. After the first stage, the teams went to refine their cyborgs to make them even more powerful and cunning.
As a result, the first place went to the team 5-C (Imron Doniyorov, Muslim Rizamukhamedov, Daniil Kim, Pavel Sokolov). The rivals from 6-A (Saidmukhammad Minovarov, Oscar Ashurov, David Avanesov, Kirill Paltusov) took the second place and became the best experts in theory. And the third place went to the national team: Emin Ibrahimov (6-B), David Amiranashvili (5-A) and Amir Shirov (5-B).
