Названы победители ежегодного шахматного турнира New Tone School
Ежегодный шахматный турнир в Английской гимназии New Tone заново определил сильнейших поклонников древней интеллектуальных игры среди учеников и их родителей. Шахматный марафон снова прошел в несколько этапов: сначала лидеры определялись внутри классов, затем лучшие игроки встречались на уровне параллелей, и лишь самые сильные стратеги и тактики вышли в финал, где развернулась напряженная борьба за первенство.
— Мы рассматриваем подобные турниры как инструмент событийного обучения, не случайно шахматы уже много лет тесно интегрированы в образовательную среду гимназии New Tone. В процессе игры ребята не просто переставляют фигуры, а проживают опыт стратегического планирования и учатся прогнозировать последствия своих действий. Это развивает субъектность — фундаментальное качество современного человека, когда ребенок становится активным участником процесса. Гимназист сам ставит перед собой цель, делает осознанный выбор и принимает ответственность за результат, — отмечает замдиректора гимназии по событийному обучению Рузана Фахриддиновна Мирхамитова.
Особенной частью турнира всегда становятся игровые поединки родителей. В этом году привычный мужской состав участников впервые был расширен — благодаря участию Юлии Гурарий, мамы Авиэля из 2-Б класса. В целом прошедшая шахматная неделя снова показала гимназию как пространство интеллектуального развития и здорового соперничества, где благодаря таким марафонам укрепляются внутрисемейные и внутришкольные связи.

The annual chess tournament at the New Tone English Gymnasium has redefined the strongest fans of ancient intellectual games among students and their parents. The chess marathon again took place in several stages: first, the leaders were determined within the classes, then the best players met at the level of parallels, and only the strongest strategists and tacticians reached the final, where a tense struggle for the championship unfolded.
«We consider such tournaments as a tool for event-based learning, it is no coincidence that chess has been closely integrated into the educational environment of the New Tone Gymnasium for many years. During the game, the children do not just rearrange the pieces, but live through the experience of strategic planning and learn to predict the consequences of their actions. This develops subjectivity, a fundamental quality of a modern person, when a child becomes an active participant in the process. A gymnasium student sets a goal for himself, makes a conscious choice and takes responsibility for the result,» says Ruzana Fakhriddinovna Mirkhamitova, Deputy Director of the Gymnasium for Event Education.
A special part of the tournament is always the game matches of parents. This year, the usual male composition of the participants was expanded for the first time — thanks to the participation of Yulia Gurary, Aviel’s mother from the 2nd grade. In general, the past chess week again showed the gymnasium as a space for intellectual development and healthy rivalry, where, thanks to such marathons, intra-family and intra-school ties are strengthened.
