Пробы профессий, топ-уровень английского и 100-процентное поступление: ученикам и родителям рассказали о возможностях старшей школы New Tone
В Английской гимназии New Tone прошла новая встреча для родителей и учеников, посвящённая учёбе в старшей школе. Это уже второй раз, когда администрация гимназии подробно рассказывает, как устроено обучение в 10 и 11 классах, какие возможности открываются перед ребятами и какую помощь оказывает школа для подготовки уверенного шага во взрослую жизнь.
Основная аудитория таких встреч — это родители сегодняшних девятиклассников, которым важно знать, что ждёт их детей впереди. У старшей школы New Tone School — насыщенный, но сбалансированный формат, с акцентом на самостоятельность, проектную работу, осознанные пробы профессиональной деятельности в соответствии с интересами ученика и активное развитие его сильных сторон при поддержке школьного наставника, рассказала модератор встречи — директор гимназии Элина Артуровна Юнусметова.
Согласно статистике, которую ведет школа, все выпускники New Tone School, начиная с 2024 года, когда старшая школа впервые выдала аттестаты об окончании 11 класса, продолжили обучение в университетах. Более половины стали студентами зарубежных вузов. В этом ребятам помогло в том числе отличное освоение английского языка: ещё во время учебы 93% старшеклассников успешно сдают международный тест IELTS.
Сегодняшние старшеклассники поделились своим опытом, особо отметив возможность начать первые шаги в будущей профессии уже сейчас: после серии пробных стажировок некоторые 11-классники уже получили предложения о работе после окончания школы.
Самой яркой частью встречи стало выступление выпускников, которые рассказали, как готовились к экзаменам и поступлению, на чём восьми- и девятиклассникам стоит сосредоточить внимание уже сейчас и какие ошибки лучше избежать. Ребята дали много практических советов, рассказали, где они сейчас учатся, как живут за границей. Каждый при этом тепло поблагодарил New Tone School за поддержку и фундамент, который дала гимназия.

The New Tone English Gymnasium hosted a new meeting for parents and students dedicated to studying in high school. This is the second time that the administration of the gymnasium tells in detail how education in grades 10 and 11 is organized, what opportunities open up for children and what assistance the school provides to prepare a confident step into adulthood.
The main audience of such meetings is the parents of today’s ninth-graders, for whom it is important to know what awaits their children ahead. The New Tone School has a rich but balanced format, with an emphasis on independence, project work, conscious attempts at professional activity in accordance with the interests of the student and the active development of his strengths with the support of the school mentor, said the moderator of the meeting, the principal of the gymnasium Elina Arturovna Yunusmetova.
According to statistics maintained by the school, all graduates of New Tone School, starting in 2024, when the high school first issued certificates of completion of the 11th grade, continued their studies at universities. More than half became students of foreign universities. Excellent mastery of the English language helped the guys in this: even during their studies, 93% of high school students successfully pass the international IELTS test.
Today’s high school students shared their experience, especially noting the opportunity to start the first steps in the future profession now: after a series of trial internships, some 11th graders have already received job offers after graduation.
The brightest part of the meeting was the speech of the graduates, who told how they prepared for exams and admission, what eighth- and ninth-graders should focus on now and what mistakes are better to avoid. The guys gave a lot of practical advice, told where they are studying now and how they live abroad. At the same time, everyone warmly thanked the New Tone School for the support and foundation that the gymnasium provided.
