Старшеклассники New Tone подискутировали о пользе и вреде заимствований в русском языке
Влияние заимствованных слов на русский язык — хорошо это или плохо? Это тема встречи, которая в формате дебатов прошла в Английской гимназии New Tone с участием учеников старших классов. Дискуссия стала продолжением программы Декады русского языка и литературы, стартовавшей в школе на этой неделе.
Ребята показали разносторонний взгляд на активное использование большого количества иностранных заимствований в русском языке. Гимназисты рассуждали, обогащает ли это язык или вытесняет из повседневного общения исконную лексику. Отстаивая свою точку зрения, участники дебатов показали хороший уровень языковых правил и грамотную речь, способность к логичному построению и изложению мыслей, также умение корректно вести дискуссию, уважительно относясь к мнению и доводам оппонентов.
По итогам двух туров дебатов оформилась пятерка призёров:
1 место — Василий Стальмаков (11 класс)
2 место — Муса Максуди (10 класс)
3 место — Артем Ким (10 класс)
4 место — Жамиля Шоахмедова (10 класс)
5 место — Амина Умурзакова (11 класс).
— Дебаты давно стали важной частью образовательного процесса в New Tone School. Такой формат работы способствует развитию критического мышления и формирует навыки работы с информацией и публичного выступления. Ученики учатся слушать собеседника, выражать и отстаивать собственную позицию, расширяют кругозор и повышают уровень речевой культуры. А тема дебатов способствует более осознанному и бережному отношению к языку как к важной части культурного багажа, — отмечает глава методобъединения педагогов гуманитарного цикла гимназии Ирина Игоревна Сидорова.
New Tone high school students discussed the benefits and harms of borrowings in the Russian language
The Influence of borrowed words on the Russian Language – is it good or bad? This is the topic of the meeting, which was held in the format of a debate at the New Tone English Gymnasium with the participation of high school students. The discussion was a continuation of the program of the Decade of Russian Language and Literature, which started at school this week.
The students demonstrated a versatile view of the active use of a large number of foreign borrowings in the Russian language. Gymnasium students discussed whether this enriches the language or ousts the original vocabulary from everyday communication. Defending their point of view, the participants of the debates showed a good level of language rules and competent speech, the ability to logically construct and express thoughts, as well as the ability to conduct a discussion correctly, respecting the opinion and arguments of opponents.
According to the results of two rounds of debates, five winners were formed:
1st place – Vasiliy Stalmakov (11th grade)
2nd place – Musa Maksudi (10th grade)
3rd place – Artem Kim (10th grade)
4th place – Jamilya Shoakhmedova (10th grade)
5th place – Amina Umurzakova (11th grade).
— Debates have long been an important part of the educational process at New Tone School. This format of work contributes to the development of critical thinking and forms the skills of working with information and public speaking. Students learn to listen to the interlocutor, express and defend their own position, expand their horizons and increase the level of speech culture. And the topic of debates contributes to a more conscious and careful attitude to the language as an important part of the cultural baggage,» says Irina Sidorova, head of the Methodological Association of Teachers of the Humanitarian Subjects of the gymnasium.
