В гостях у будущего: старшеклассники New Tone протестировали образовательную среду университета UDEA
Ученики 10–11 классов Английской гимназии New Tone побывали в университете UDEA (Ташкент). Посещение ведущих вузов — часть программы профориентации с целью познакомить будущих абитуриентов с реальной академической средой и помочь им сделать осознанный выбор дальнейшего пути.
Открытый диалог с деканом факультета — полностью на английском языке —позволил гимназистам проверить свои коммуникативные навыки. У общения был формат дискуссии: ученики активно задавали вопросы, обсуждали тренды современного образования, даже вступали в полемику. Новое поколение будущих студентов показало, что ценит горизонтальные связи, аргументированность и возможность прямого участия.
Знакомство с инфраструктурой вуза провели студенты UDEA. В их сопровождении гимназисты осмотрели учебные аудитории, библиотеку, зоны отдыха и игровые пространства. Студенты поделились своим опытом обучения, рассказав о нагрузке, внеучебной жизни и практических возможностях, которые открывает университет.
— Для современных подростков критически важно не просто получить теоретическую информацию о вузе, а «примерить» его на себя. Когда университет превращается из абстрактного названия в живое, понятное пространство, процесс выбора жизненного пути становится для старшеклассника более прозрачным и ответственным, — отмечает классный руководитель 10 класса Ольга Георгиевна Аларова.

Visiting the Future: New Tone High School Students Tested the Educational Environment of UDEA University
Students of grades 10-11 of the New Tone English Gymnasium visited UDEA University (Tashkent). Visits to leading universities are part of the career guidance program in order to introduce future applicants to the real academic environment and help them make an informed choice of their future path.
An open dialogue with the dean of the faculty – entirely in English – allowed the gymnasium students to test their communication skills. Communication had a discussion format: students actively asked questions, discussed trends in modern education, and even entered into polemics. The new generation of future students has shown that they value horizontal connections, argumentation and the possibility of direct participation.
UDEA students got acquainted with the infrastructure of the university. Accompanied by them, the gymnasium students examined the classrooms, library, recreation areas and play spaces. Students shared their learning experience, talking about the workload, extracurricular life and practical opportunities that the university opens.
— For modern teenagers, it is critically important not just to get theoretical information about the university, but to «try it on» for themselves. When the university turns from an abstract name into a living, understandable space, the process of choosing a life path becomes more transparent and responsible for a high school student,» says Olga Aylarova, class teacher of the 10th grade.
